it is believed that there are about 80.000 Syrian refrugees out of record who don’t live in the camps in Adana.These people mostly live in the ghettos of the city. In many cities such as Gaziantep, Hatay, Şanlıurfa Kilis, lots of NGO and other organisations are doing social studies.But we have very limited numbers of NGOs working with Syrian refrugees in Adana. And there is none which works with disabled refrugees.
Purpose of our project is to help refrugees have a better life with sport and help them adapt to social life in Turkey with sports activities. We are planning to achieve this with EVS volunteers.
Volunteers from other countries will be working with Syrian refrugees.
We will have two EVS volunteers in the project. Volunteers will coorparate with trainers to help refrugees adapt social life with sports. Our method will be rehabilitating with sports.
