The project AZIONI IN MOVIMENTO will involve two volunteers, who come from Belgium and Belarus. They will be hosted for 11 months (from September 2014 to August 2015) at the office of the association “Movimentazioni”, located in Pescara. It’s foreseen that the volunteers will be engaged in all the activities proposed by the cultural association and in particular with the achievement of the following actions: - assisting in the process of creating and carrying out cultural events (presentation of books, debates, film shows at the in Pescara, music shows); - assisting in the process of creating and carrying out social events (animation activities for children and the youth, public promotion of Erasmus+ Program and of European Voluntary Service, social interventions in local community). Our aims we would like to reach are beneficial for both sides: for the volunteers, who will get a chance of their professional growth in the above-mentioned fields, offering ideas and chances to work in the areas they are interested in; and for our association by opening to new ideas and actions in order to make the most of intellectual, operative and human contribution of the volunteers. In the long term we hope that these efforts will help our city to be open to new cultures, helping to develop an intercultural dimension of citizenship.
