Our school is operating in the developing village of Üröm near Budapest, the capital city of Hungary.Since the village is the habitat of German nationalities, the school teaches German as the first foreign language from the first grade in six lessons per week. We also teach English as the second foreign language from the fifth grade (11-12 years students) in two lessons per week. With the current project we aim to develop our school. As the first step we would like to improve our teacher's language skills, methodology knowledge. The project has five participants. Four of them are language teachers with a longer experience but they need inspiration and methodological refreshment. The fifth member is a young colleague who needs linguistic reinforcement.During the project planning we assessed the school's and the colleagues' needs. The courses were chosen according to these needs.During the mobility every participant is trying to do their best and taking part actively in the programme. The main element of the project is the application of the new knowledge in everyday work. The other important part is sharing the new methods on as wide of range as possible.Developing new, international connections, personal friendships could be a good basis of new projects. Involving more and more teachers and students, too these future projects are good means of school development on the long run.Professional and methodological refreshment are the immediate results of the project. The creative application of the acquirement can motivate the students and improve the level of teaching. On the long run more parents will be interested in our school and the parents' contentment is increasing. Less student leave the school. We make professional connections that help us to plan and develope new international projects. We meet colleagues who will be our partners in future professional cooperation on an online platform.
