Participating in Erasmus+ KA1 mobility project we would like to increase the professional qualification of our cook students. The hosting partner is in Kajaani Finland (Kainuun ammattiopisto), with which our relationship looks back for more the ten years. We have had several successful projects in Finland and our country. After the finished projects, we always succeeded to find out and convinced of new targets and achieve them. From year to year our school proposing for our school’s cook students such a perspective which develop not only the students professional skills but useful for school to held on an eligible level the professional training. Due to the projects we can frame high requirements to our teachers and trainers. For our students is characterise the multiplicative economic and social handicap. In the 2016 year’s project, eight students get the opportunity to enlarge their professional knowledge and skills. The tasks which were formulated in the project were accomplished in the school’s kitchen and the cities restaurants (Kajaani, Kuusamo). During the project, the participants enlarge not only their professional knowledge and skills but enrich with different competencies (cooperation, communication, the demand for lifelong learning) which will increase the chance of getting work on the labour market. Beside professional learning, the students get acquainted with the Finnish lifestyle and culture during free time activities during the weekends. The results of the project have been affecting not only on students but on the teacher which were participation in it. The experiences got by the students were shared with the students and members of the catering team. On their home practice, they presented the bases of health keeping gastronomy exercises. The condition of the successful project ending was that the project should be innovative and for high-level professional activity, to build to every day’s work the adapted foreign knowledge. Every successful Erasmus+ project strength the positive picture of our school in our partners.
