Our aim is to put EVS at the disposal of Çankaya dwellers with the project called "Voluntary Youth Bridging Europe to Çankaya". We contribute from Çankaya to the process of growing new generations who are active participatory, multilinguistic, tolerant to other cultures and enable to work and live together with different cultures. Çankaya Municipality in Ankara will host two women volunteers, one from France and other from Italy, for European Voluntary Service activities starting on 7th September 2015 and ending on 5th December 2016. Working with our staff and with Çankaya-dwellers from all ages, volunteers will cultivate intercultural dialogue and improve active citizenship, solidarity and culture of tolerance. * Experience share on international cooperation and projects in the Office of International Projects; * Teaching children a foreign language by playing and singing in our day care centers; * Participation in social and cultural activities in the Cultural-Social Affairs Directorate; * Visits to schools; * Cultural interaction with our trainees in Social Solidarity Centers in different neighbourhoods; * Introduction to the history and culture of Ankara and its surrounding; * Turkish Course and interactive learning activities. Throughout the voluntary service informal learning and interactive methods will be promoted. volunteer will be responsible from her learning process as partner organisations are responsible from helping volunteers and self-evaluation methods will be the base.
