Our Project includes teachers and 11th-12th grade students from departments of Radio Television an Journalism at Aydın Dogan Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. There is a need to apply the Project of “Digital Media Applications in Europa” based on the research we had in the field and the sectoral demands. Within our Project, our students -from departments of RTV and Journalism -will have practical training in our partner school in Ireland.RTV Departments students will have training on Final Cut Editing Software and Journalism students will have training Indesign designing programme. Final Cut Editing is an up-to-date software which is used by TV institutions, production companies and advertisement agencies around the world. Indesign is a designing programme which is intensively used by print media, publishing and graphic design companies. Both programmes have potential to provide our students with employability in national and international fields. Within our Project, our teachers will participate practical trainings on The Radio Broadcasting and İnternet based Journalism in Ireland. Based on these trainings, our Project aims to have our teachers update their knowledge on The Radio Broadcasting and Internet Based Journalism learn related techniques and methodologies in the place of origin, have experience at European Level, get competencies and vision about training competitive students who can meet the need for employers in national and international media. It is also aimed to get our students to be able to ;- meet the qualitative epmloyability need in national and international media. - know new technologies in the field , and use Final Cut editing program (for Radio TV Students) and Indesing design programs ( for students of journalism ) effectively- have the knowledge and experience at EU standards - produce projects together with colleagues from different cultures in an international working environment Our project contains two main activities based on practical trainings for our teachers and students . there are three flows in our project to our partner school Galway Technical İnstitute in Ireland. 1st Flow: 4 RTV Students and 2 Journalism students will have trainings on Final Cut Editing programme and Indesign programme for 4 weeks 2nd Flow 3 RTV teachers and 2 Journalism teachers will have trainings on The Radio Broadcasting and Internet Based Journalism for 2 weeks. 3rd Flow: 4 RTV Students and 2 Journalism students will have trainings on Final Cut Editing programme and Indesign programme for 4 weeks
