Avrupa’da Alzheimer Hemşirelik Eğitimi
Start date: Dec 1, 2014, End date: Nov 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Alzheimer's Nursing Education in Europe Our project, planned to be carried out within the scope Erasmus+ VET learner and staff mobility project, will be undertaken Anatolian Vocational High Schools of Health, local partners. Our participants selected among the students of 11th and 12th grades at the department of nursing at the above-mentioned schools, mainly girls. With our project for 42 participants, the disadvantages and its outcomes due to lack of classes on Alzheimer disease which is not included in the curriculum will be eradicated thanks to the training to be given for this disease. The need for Alzheimer nursing in our country is also the result of the fact that the technological developments in health sector do not work for special care services for patients. The patients are in need of special care, daily life activities, and use of care and medical treatment for their psychiatric behavior, and our nurses turn out to be most important health workers in hospitals meeting such needs. Moreover, since the early diagnosis of Alzheimer disease stops the rapid development of the disease, it has a special importance. With our project, the participants learned how to use the CDDAT in EU and JCI standards and therefore will obtain practical professional skills, training of which is not currently given in our country. Our project is planned that they will work there for 3 weeks in the Project there will be per 3 groups (First group 14 students and 1 attendant, Second group 14 students and 1 teachers, third group 14 students and 1 attendant, totally 42 students and 3 attendant teachers) .This activity took place in 3 EU countries Germany, Holland and Romania between February and March 2015.
