The objective of the partnership coordinated by Technische Universität Berlin is to create a network of Jordanian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian and European universities promoting the EHEA and academic excellence through joint research, education and exchange of experience by awarding individula mobility grants to contribute to a sustainable development of Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria in the field of higher education and improve the career prospects of the scholars in their home countries. AVEMPACE III will allocate 127 individual scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students, doctorates, post-doctorates and staff members by means of a transparent selection system. Scholarships are available in a great variety in terms of academic fields. AVEMPACE III will help develop human resources in Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria and will strengthen the international cooperation capacity of the universities involved. AVEMPACE III will also contribute to the mutual enrichment of the European and Jordanien, Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese societes by offering its participants a new window to the world, creating and international network of open-minded, internationally experienced and responsable scholarship holders.
