In the Europpean Union, the youth unemployment rate is 21,6%, in Germany 7,7%. According to the regional statistical office in Baden - Württemberg 4,7% of all students and trainees are without school - leaving qualification from "Hauptschule" in the year 2013. With the introduction of a new training course AV Dual Baden - Württemberg has gone new paths in the vocational education and so reacted to the guide - lines required by the European Commission to support intelligent and integrative growth (Strategy Europe 2020 / Education and Training 2020). The Vocational school Backnang has an multiplier fuunction in the AV Dual-training system in Baden - Württemberg, but also in Europe with the AVDUE 2020 - Project. In this new cooperation network schools in France (Annonay), Spain (Barcelona), Finland (Oulu and in Turkey (Bursa / Izmir) are incorporated. Altogether 18 teachers will tak part in this 2-year Erasmus+ / key action 1 - project and attend the following further vocational training measures: job - shadowing, observations / "Hospitation", structured training courses and training events. The teachers are to -find new educational and curricular paths of the dual training preparation with the partner schools, - develop new educational contents in a cooperation network, - push their own innovative AVDUE 2020-initiatives, - integrate released synergy effects into their own teaching design, - guarantee a regular flow of information and exchange of ideas by eTwinning. The staff, the school community, stakeholders and the public will be informed through regular information about the progress of the project. The knowledge gained in AVDUE 2020 should lead into an Erasmus+ key action 2 - project in a second phase. The existing cooperation network is to be expanded.
