The objects of the project are:
- to give students possibility to acquire new competences, to improve their Professional knowledge on work area in other countries, to develop communicative skills of foreign languages;
- to improve Professional skills and competences of teachers of Austrumlatgale Vocational Secondary school;
- to support students` and teachers` personal and professional development, mobility, employment and integration into European labor market.
In frames of this project Austrumlatgale Vocational Secondary school will provide 5-week placement for last year students:
In October-November, 2014
- 6 students of „Autotransport” department will have practical training in Germany (Salo+Partner BB GmbH),
- 4 students of „Programming” department – in Estonia (Ida-Virumaa VEC),
- 3 students of „Food production technology” department – in Lithuania (Utenos RPMC)
In January-February, 2015
- 2 students of „Building” department – in Estonia (Narva VTC)
In March-April, 2015
- 4 students of „Catering service” department – in German (Salo+Partner BB GmbH),
- 2 students of „Building” department –in Estonia (Ida-Virumaa VEC),
- 4 students of „Power and electrical engineering” department – in Estonia (Ida-Virumaa VEC)
In frames of this project Austrumlatgale Vocational Secondary school will provide 1-week placement for teachers of vocational education:
In October-November, 2014
- 2 specialists in IT area – in Estonia (Ida-Virumaa VEC),
- 2 specialists in Food production technology – in Lithuania (Utenos RPMC)
In January-February, 2015
- 1 specialist on Building/Construction – in Estonia (Narva VTC)
In March-April, 2015
- 2 specialists on Building/Construction –in Estonia (Ida-Virumaa VEC),
- 1 specialist in Power and electrical engineering – in Estonia (Ida-Virumaa VEC)
After the practical training students will be more active in involving into labour market improving the level of employment in Latgale region and Latvia. The teachers will use new teaching methods and introduce innovations in their educating work at Austrumlatgale Vocational secondary school (APV).
Estonian and Lithuanian specialists of vocational education, as well businessmen, will get new information about APV, educational curriculums, will be able to take part in discussions about further cooperation in frames of ERASMUS+ and other programs projects in order to supply with work places for practical trainings.
Innovation of the Project:
- Specialists of Austrumlatgale Vocational secondary school for the first time are involved in Mobility project
- A new partner in Mobility projects (Utenos RPMC).
