Addressing equality of opportunity and a need to actively promote and enhance disability awareness, the Attrain project aimed at the development of a common knowledge base for adult training professionals working with disabled persons. Centred round the hosting of a training course for adult learning professionals, participants were introduced to assistive technologies and targeted pedagogical methods able to enhance the learning experience for disabled learners. Key project outputs included pilot training, project workshops and an assistive technology handbook and CD-Rom.
