This is a youth exchange project in which will participate 5 partner organizations for 5 countries (Romania, Italy,Turkey, Slovakia and Spain) and each partner should send 4 participants and 1 youth leader. The activity will be held in Traisteni, Romania from 18 to 24 June 2016 (7 full working days and 1 travel day). Together Romania - is main applicant and leader of the project. All other partners are sending and will cooperate and support in successful implementation of the project. The main objective of the project is to raise the desire of becoming active citizens among young Europeans (by new local and European projects developed by us and/or our partners and stakeholders), informing them about the meaning and concrete practice of volunteering (with concretely activities based on non-formal and informal education as: final event in local community prepared by the participants, 5 dissemination meetings organized by each organization involved, activities in local youth centers), based on the direct experience of civic and voluntary organizations. The project will also allow us and our partners to develop a better understanding of own actions in a European framework and participants to experiment a new form of informal learning.Specific objectives related to project and E+ Programm:1. improve the level of key competences and skills of 20 young people, including those with fewer opportunities, as well as to promote active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity. 2 foster quality improvements in youth work by the follow-up activities and the new collaboration with our partners on art as a tool for involvement and inclusion of youngsters in community life and other stakeholders; 3. to support the development of knowledge and evidence-based youth policy as well as the recognition of non-formal and informal learning by Youthpass, better use of Erasmus + Programm and the dissemination of good practices; 4. to contribute to intercultural learning of young people coming from different cultural backgrounds 5. inform young people and increase their awareness about EU policies and initiatives regarding mobility. The youth exchange is designed as an open space of mutual learning, based on non formal education and the experiential learning methodologies applied under the monitoring and the support of the leaders team. Theory and practical workshop will be mixed during all the activity as well space for participants to discuss and to express their ideas will be provided. Experiential learning methodology will make participants easy engaged and be main actor of the activity. Participants will be actively involved in their own learning process. Main methods that will be used are: brainstorming, small working groups, simulation exercise, learning by doing workshops, role play, theater, debate, self reflection, question and answer session etc. The activities we will organize in the activity are various and combined with theory and practical workshops. All the activities follow a logical frame as following: Introduction, Get to know each other, group building, exploring the topic, Going deep in topic and lessons learned, tools to be used in practice, Follow up and dissemination, Final evaluation and closure. Participants will have open space in activity to discuss and for working in concrete project ideas and design concrete aims, objectives, activities, working methods for each project. As we have a variety of partners we plan to have at least 4 project ideas (for example job shadowing, training, youth exchanges) by end of activity.Partner organization who are participating in the project will benefit as well by enriching their experience through their members. New contacts and new project ideas will help organization to continue working in the future and engaging more young people having this a big multiplying effect.
