Nowadays, everybody agrees on the need of trans-sectorial projects in any logic of social and professional integration. However, the actual problem of trans-sectorial projects is that there is no such thing as a global frame to create them. As a matter of fact, the different methods used in these projects usually come from one of the partners’ sector, forcing the others to confront to logics which are not theirs and which are not even compatible.
Thus, the aim of this project is to create a strategic partnership to develop a specific methodology for trans-sectorial projects in the field of social and professional inclusion of young people having less opportunities. This method is a way to measure the aims, the inputs, the actions and the outputs and outsourcings of the envisaged projects. It could be used with any project of this nature whoever the partners are and whichever the countries are too. It will also be a good way for professional training.
In this purpose, the project brings together five partners from three different countries. In France : IRTS, center for training and research on social work. Alefpa which gathers different youth shelters throughout France. Latitudes Contemporaines, International scene festival and production office for choreographers. In England : Tyne and Wear Museum, network of galeries and museums. In Germany : IMAL which offers professional training and art production in visual arts, media and performing arts.
The project will be divided in two phases. The first one is a phase of training and discussion seminars. One seminar will be hold in each partner’s country. The aim is double : train professionals to the specific problematics of european trans-sectorial projects and develop the methodology. Thirty five persons will take part in these seminaries, twenty professionnals from the different partners and fifteen « witnesses » from the host country. These participants will be from different areas : political, professionnal, scientific sectors.
The second phase is the capitalization phase and the dissemination of the research results. Each interested professionnal will have the opportunity to use the methods developed and adapt them to his field thanks to a performant methodologic tool and a Webplatform. A dissemination seminary will also be held so that the results of the project and the methods developed can be known by the greatest number of people. One hundred and fifty persons from the host country and a hundred from international participants will be invited.
