"ART AND LOCAL TRANSFORMATION". A training meeting among people who work with (vulnerable and not) youth communities, children and adults, and use art as a tool for development. Therefore, the project partners know, defend and apply the transforming and conciliatory capacity of art.The project is part of the whole action that RESIDUI TEATRO systematically develops in Madrid and its work focuses on the development of a critical way of thinking and the fight against discrimination and marginalisation through art.During the project, the participants will receive information about training by experts as well as they will analyse and share (in theory and practice) strategies, methods and tools that each partner organisation uses to propel innovative local projects. The participants who come from Spain, Italy, Denmark, Romania, Portugal and France will play the role of the multiplier of appropriate praxis and will encourage the operation of a network of collaboration at a national and international level.Moreover, during this project, we will realise meetings with associative realities of Madrid and Spain, we will visit facilities, we will organise discussions open to the public, we will attend working demonstrations and meetings with international organisations. The activities will take place in Madrid, at the Centro de Artesanía de las Artes Escénicas, the headquarters of Residui Teatro, from the 23rd to the 30 of June 2016 . They will be held in spaces in the neighborhood of Arganzuela and in public facilities that support the project.
