Our school educates young people, which in the future will be craftsmen and women in different fields. They will have to work in a globalized world and need to get knowledge and skills in intercultural communication. Both our Students in the Hotel and tourism program as our Construction Students need to get out and get experience of working in other countries. For us it is obvious that we must offer our students the opportunity to make parts of Workplace-based learning abroad. We want to send 18 students to France, 28 to Malta and 14 to Iceland in two rounds. We also want to send three teachers to each cooperation partner to be updated on recent developments and practices in their respective sectors or branches. Their internship abroad will affect the continued study time positively, reducing the risk of defection and open new exciting perspectives for a group of students with varying degrees of special needs. Also the rest of our students will be encouraged by their experiences and contribute to increased interest in schoolwork. Most important of all is that our students will improve their employability getting at the same time a better understanding of other people and other cultures.
