Observing the daily learning process at school, the progress in lessons and specificities of our students, the need for new, more efficient forms of teaching and the need to improve our educational task, some teachers of the school, decided to take part to this the project. The main activity of the project is linked with the participation of our teachers in educational courses of two organizer institutions, carried out in European countries and it’s related mainly to education on issues of cultural heritage of Europe and education in different cultures and educational systems of European countries. The methodology used in all courses will generally be: learning by doing, and collaborative work, various activities, discussions, some theory and practical training practices. Participants will be invited to express the course content in various forms of artistic expression like drama, visual arts, music, poetry, film and photography. Participants will gain skills in teaching topics of cultural heritage of European countries and in training the social and intercultural skills of their students. They will also learn innovative approaches to learning and gain skills in the use of computers and of the Information and Communication Technologies as well. They will develop lesson plans and specific material on the above topics, which will be used in their lessons in the short and long term. They will also be able to strengthen European dimension in teaching and learning through collaborative working and to create personal contacts and relationships with teachers and staff members of schools and organizations in other European countries, to network and establish reliable eTwinning groups that might lead to the creation of future European school partnerships. This will support the European dimension in education in a sense of community and in long term it will offer to school, to rest teachers and students an opening to other European countries and cultures and a significant improvement of their intercultural and social competences.
