PROJECT
FINISHED
The effect of increasing urbanization and industrialization, rapid population growth and technological improvements in our old world stimulate the consumption of fossil fuel. According to this, it is calculated that the need for power of the world shall increase as approximately 40% till 2030, and our world is rapidly being contaminated day by day due to the effect of increasing amount of fuel consumption. While considering natural resources are consumed day by day rapidly in our world where 1.5 – 4.5-degree-increase in temperature is expected till 2040 due to the effect of greenhouse gasses because of pollution, it is understood that each sector are obliged to fulfill their duties in a sense of responsibility in utilizing alternative power resources reducing emission. Producing electric power from renewable energy resources, primarily wind power in this field, in our country is reinforced in scope of Electricity Market Law No. 4628, Law No. 5346 for Electricity Power Production of “Renewable Energy Resources”(YEK-e Law) and secondary regulation about the law mentioned.
It is aimed in our project that a practical training and professional development shall be provided to our participant students on wind power spreading rapidly in our country, primarily around Aegean and Marmara and solar power expected to become widespread rapidly in near future, our students should be mastered in these field and employed in the sector. For this aim, 11th and 12th grade students in our school, Diyarbakır Lice Ahmet Tprak Multi-program High School Electricity and Electronics Technology Department and new graduates shall be involved in an intense practical training in experienced and professional institutions about this in Europe.
Our participants shall be sent to the vocational training school, Berufliche Bildung Bremerhaven, in Bremerhaven city, in Germany and Lantbrukarnas Riksförbund, in Stockholm city, in Sweeden for wind power training, and to NDB Elektrotechnik GmbH in Stade, in Germany for solar power training in groups of 12 shall be realized as 15/03/2015 - and 29/03/2015 3 branch teacher in total shall accompany 36 students in total who will be involved in an intense practical training through internship program during the mobility.
The methodology to be used in our project shall be project management, training and introduction. The project team to be established shall coordinate the activities and evaluate the results and ensure the sustainability through project management, in training method, our participants shall be enabled to reach at the target professional level and through introduction method, our school, primarily Ministry of European Union and National Agency, shall be introduced, project results shall be shared and declared to large mass.
The effect and expected results at the end of the project;
• The practical use of wind and solar power, which are commonly used in Europe, shall be observed and participants s hall gain experience through practice.
• Observing the applications in Europe in order to reduce the energy consumed in buildings and green house gas release,
• Establishing a sustainable cooperation between our education institution and private sector in Europe and transferring innovative applications
• Paying attention to alternative power production methods by sharing the gains with relevant representatives in private sector, educators and students in educational institutions,
• Enhancing the level of professional and general foreign language of the participants thanks to students mobility program,
• Improving the participants’ professional careers
• Recognizing European culture and introducing our country abroad
Long-term gains expected are to enhance the quality of our educational institutions in mainly our city and region, to contribute to reducing the dependence on foreign countries and to allow our participant students to be employed in this specific area.
