FINISHED
This project, lead by our whole association, consists of four differents sub-projects. The 1st sub-project is intended for apprentices in catering. We offer them the opportunity to attend a three weeks’ mobility in Albi (France)in order to discover the distinctive feature of the regional cuisine through one week courses at the training center and two weeks in local restaurants. The aim for the participants is to improve their basic skills as well as learning a new competence "prepare a course with meat, fish, and seafood (with sauce) by concentration". Educational visits will be organized in local enterprises.During their leisure time, the accompanying team will organize cultural visits as well. The 2nd sub-project concerns catering trainees. They will have the opportunity to go to Gubbio, in Italy, to work for three weeks in the kitchens of “Rosati Hotel”.Therefore, they'll be able to discover the Italian cuisine and new techniques as well as improving their basic skills. Cultural visits will be organized during their free times. The 3rd sub-project is intended for apprentices and trainees in bricklaying.Through our partnership with the CESF, our students will have the opportunity to go to Perugia for three weeks and work on the school building site “Pieve Del Vescovo”. The project's aim is to enable the students to learn the restoration techniques. Cultural visits will be organized; some visits will be focused on discovering historical buildings. The 4th and last sub-project concerns trainees in jewelry. They will go to Vicenza for three weeks. During the first week, they will have some Italian lessons and technical courses (enamel and engraving). The last two weeks will be dedicated to a work experience in a local enterprises. There, the students will have the opportunity to improve their skills, especially linked to technical settings. Enterprises visits will be organized as well as some cultural one-day trips (during the weekends). All these sub-projects are meant to answer the global need of employers for young qualified people, showing flexibility and having extensive technical skills and competences. These mobilities will give them access to additional competences, allowing them to stand out on the labor market. In addition to this technical aspect, these experiences give the students the opportunity to increase their self-confidence, autonomy and to discover a different and new environment. This will also help them be more open-minded and to see the interest of transnational mobility in their professional sectors. At the pedagogical point of view, we will assess the learning outcomes through an assessment grid (developed on the basis of IFAPME training frameworks). The assessment will be continuous but formalized at the end of the work placement. The accompanying trainer will be present for this assessment in order to validate it with the “individual results” chart.Every participant will receive the Europass at the end of his mobility. At the practical level, all these projects will be managed by a team, working together for a few years. Each project will be coordinated by one person with the support of the financial department. Regular transmissions of information will allow a good cooperation between each person involved. The accompanying will be ensured by project coordinators but also by trainers (from the involved sector). This will make the students more confident as they know the people travelling with them very well. The organization of the trip and the administrative aspects will be rigorously monitored. The participants' preparation will be composed of:- a linguistic preparation (when necessary) : they will have 24h of language lessons. These lessons will be given by native speakers who will also add cultural information.- a psychological preparation : the project's coordinator will pay close attention to the participants fears, questions and doubts as to comfort and reassure them.- the practical preparation : the participants will be informed regularly about all the practical aspects of the mobilityWe will also pay attention to evaluate the implementation of these projects through meetings and questionnaire and to the dissemination of the project's results (FB, press, meetings,...)
