PROJECT
FINISHED
The project consists in the creation of a network of local authorities in the alpine area involved on the one hand in the management of natural alpine lakes, and on the other hand in sustainable development and improvement of “lakeside environments”. The networking initiative’s two main concerns are the promotion of tools in favour of the regional planning of the lakes space, the protection of the environment and the development of quality tourism (ecotourism) which is respectful of the environment. This project is organised around operational WP which consist - firstly in the implementation of a shared and coordinated observation of the lakes and lakeside environment especially environnemental criteria, pressures from human activities and from lakes and catchment’s area uses, - secondly in a detailed picture of ecotourism, - thirdly in a detail picture of other uses like drinkable water supply, navigation, fishing activities, natural resource management and in the management of uses conflicts.
