This project aims to improve the small-scale economic communication infrastructure leading to the cross border homesteads of rural tourism, business enterprises, each community member homes. The main idea is development of local roads on the cross border, and thereby improvement of the traffic conditions and creation of remote areas more attractive to the tourists and potential investors. Expected Results: Reconstruction works of total 4,92 km roads are foreseen in Puńsk Community - Morkusa street; in Alytus District municipality - AL0016 Vaidaugai-Vaisodžiai road; in Sejny Poviat - Jenorajście – Burbiszki road. Target groups of the project are local inhabitants of the crossborder communities, business companies and tourists, also three local authorities. Project will allow community members to have better living conditions and will make the area more attractive for incoming guests and potential investors. Project target group will test the roads by participating in joint innovative activities with ecological transport means: sleigh ride in winter, carriage ride in spring, segway ride in summer and joint camping in autumn, planned to involve 120 participants in total.
