Through this project, we want to enhance the capabilities of the people who were coordinator, mentor and also alumnis in the program named Take The Chance that is an active citizenship programme and which we have been implementing for 3 years and planning to start its 4th year.
Our organization has been implementing the programme named Take The Chance for 3 years. Local workshops for one day and three training courses are organized during the introduction process. Besides, the alumnis of our programme have non-formal education methods which they use during the events which they organize in their locals, regions and also in Turkey. Both events and methods need to be enhanced in terms of their qualities. Thereforetraining , it will be given importance to support the individuals who are working as mentor, trainer or alumni and enhance their capabilities within "Take The Chance" programme. That's why, we are willing to implement this project. Trainers, mentors, alumnis and coordinators who are working with adult people will benefit from our project. 8 alumnis, 7 traniners, 2 programme coordinator and 3 mentors will be included in the mobility activities.
Profile of Participants :
-Trainer: Trainers will work in the field of adult education
-Coordinator: Programme coordinators will have responsibility for the ocoordination of adult trainings and make fundraising
-Mentor: They will support to the beneficiaries of the programme.
-Alumnis: They are responsible for increasing the visibility of the programme in local level, create opportunities for people in local level to make them aware of the non formal opportunities
During implementing our project, the non-formal education methods will be used, our participants will be included in the training courses in Europe and non-formal evaluation methods will be used in this process. Our organization will be in contact with the organizations which will carry out to the courses in the process and we will find a methodology matching with the expectations and compentences of our participants. In the end of the project, we expect to increase the competences of trainers and mentors in our organization and we expect them to contribute to the programme. In addition to trainers and mentors, alumnis and coordinators are expected to gain the competence to make visibility of the project in a large scale and be ready for the potention problems.
Within the project, our target group is the individuals who are between 20 and 45 and are living in Southeast or East Anatolian Region. We expect our participants to enhance their competences in organizing activities in non-formal and informal education of this target group. It is also expected that NGOs and governmental institues will improve their non-formal activities for these people in a local and regional level.
OUTCOMES
-Increase in the visibility of non-formal education in Southeast or East Anatolian Region
-Increase in access to non formal education for disadvantaged people in Southeast or East Anatolian Region
-More awareness about non formal education for the people who are between 20 and 45 in Southeast or East Anatolian Region
