CABOFORMA is born has an answer to the necessities demanded by the Government of Cabo Verde and that are previwed in the Indicative Program of Cooperation 2002-2004 (PIC), signed between the Canary Islands and Cabo Verde. Between these necessities and considering the specific characteristics of the territory of Cabo Verde, very similar in dimension and geography to the Canary Islands, it is important to direct his economic development through the superior training of future caboverdian professional in the matter of Tourism and Foreign trade, two sectors of special relevance in Cabo Verde. For it, the project allows to grant a scholarship to 8 caboverdianos to study in two schools specialized in these areas: 4 in the School of Comercio Exterior (ESCOEX) in the Palms of GC, and 4 in the Hotels Schools of the Canary Islands (HECANSA) in Great Canaria and Tenerife.
