AGROTOUR TOT — Training for trainers in agro tourism in Poland, Belgium and Romania

The project will develop a training curriculum and educational tools for trainers in agro-tourism sector in Poland, Belgium and Romania; promoting environmental issues and sustainable development, IT-skills and business planning in converting from traditional farming to agro tourism activities. There is an existing need for language training in participating countries in rural areas, especially small-size farms, increasing employability and entrepreneurship of especially women and young people The work will begin with an analysis of current state in agro-tourism and training modules, evaluation of existing training contents, inventory of existing projects in the sector and their outcomes. Products available on Romanian, Polish, French and English: (1) Pedagogical simulation game for agro-tourism; (2) 20 tailored training modules; (3) Handbook for trainers; (4) A website platform for exchange of experience. Commercialisation of products after project, eventually Multifunctional role of agriculture, promoting social cohesion Updating the skills of trainers in training unemployed people; new methodology, tools and curriculum for teacher training, focused on active learning methods, pilot training in participating countries Pedagogical agro-business simulation, training modules, access to quality content on a website platform Dissemination through partner network; demonstration sessions to potentially interested institutions.
