The project „AGRICULTURE FACILITIES - EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES" gathers the group of 25 learners and graduates of agricultural schools from the warminsko-mazurskie voivodeship. It is a 3-month internship program developed together with our partner Uitzendgroep Sun-Power B.V. and vocational schools which takes place in the Netherlands on strawberries/cucumber/tomato/peppers/ornamental flowers/fruit trees/lettuce plantations. The aim of the project is to create an opportunity for professional development, skills improvement as well as adjusting to the changing needs of the European market. Additionally, we believe that the knowledge gained in the Netherlands could be implemented in Poland. Particularly worthy to note are the use of technology in farming, the use of local resources, communities and a region for business development. Apart from raising their professional qualifications, the participants will have the opportunity to believe in themselves, become more confident and learn how to cope with stress and crisis. Moreover, due to the fact that the internship will take place in a foreign environment, the participants will improve their English, used both in everyday life and at work. In addition, the participants of the internship will have a Chance to learn about the habits and customs prevailing in the Netherlands, refute stereotypes and myths about the Dutch.
