Agorapolis 2014 is a play and games laboratory which is open on the political world. Creating scale models representing the ideal city they may conceive, teenagers confront their own vision of today’s society, reflecting on the part they’ll once play as citizens in the construction of to-morrow’s world. In the same manner as the political world, they’ll be continuously confronted with problems and challenges as varied as unexpected.. Aged between 13 and 18, the participators will discover the various ways of making a decision, arguing to justify their own point of view, being so confronted with the principles of compounding with other people and the respect of democracy while developing their own artistic faculties. In connection with this, it will be interesting to pursue their reflections and submit them to the political leaders in charge of the youth and being in care for constructing to-morrow’s world with regards to the expectations of today’s youth. During that meeting between those young people and the members of the democratic parties, the scale models will be presented to the public and will give opportunities to raise up discussions concerning the political sphere in general.
