This project will be in Madrid and it´s aimed at children between 8 and 14 years old. The participating countries are Poland, Croatia and Spain. There will be held sports, leisure time, solidarity, culture and support school activities. A group of these children need special attention because they are mostly immigrants or Roma. This children receive school support to reinforce what they learn at school. This project aims to promote a leisure and healthy lifestyle through different activities. It also aims to promote a cultural exchange between the children and the young volunteers who participate in the EVS. The volunteers will actively participate in the planification, organisation and evaluation of these activities. Between the volunteers there will be exchange of experiences so they will participate more in the society and in their organisations. We need 4 volunteers and the projects will last from the first of september of 2014 until the 31 of july of 2015 (11 months). There will participate in the activities around 200 children, at different days and in different headquarters. Volunteers will work always accompanied by a person in charge to the activity and under the supervision of the Senara Foundation. The volunteer will assist in all activities that the Foundation makes Senara with minors, and support to the technicians in to the headquarters of the entity. The tasks to be undertaken are: -to help in planning and evaluation of activities for children - Attention and participation in cultural activities, training, school support, volunteer activities and to promote intercultural. - Interest and participation in sports and leisure time as games and outings - Attention and participation of urban and summer camps for children in June and July - Attention and participation in two or three activities weekend per year with children aimed at promoting cultural diversity through activities that promote interest in other cultures, respect and building a European culture - Participation in training sessions for volunteers of the host organization - Support in organizing a party for families in December and the end of the school year - Creating and updating a blog of experiences - Supporting the Foundation staff in preparation of projects, dissemination and training other young people within the Erasmus+ program. In addition, the initiatives and suggestions of the voluntary to incorporate new activities, work systems, assessment or other measures to help improve, will be considered. the participation of the voluntary will definitely be a mutual enrichment and an opportunity to bring Europe closer to the children involved in the project. The volunteer will explain the European dimension of the project in all training sessions. In short, the volunteer will have an active paper, promoter and binding Volunteers will live in families or alternative accommodation with other young spanish people. they will live near the place where they work or well connected by bus and metro. On transport, the host organization will be responsible for a monthly fee to pay each volunteer so they can use public transportation every day whenever they want. Moreover, in all weekend activities or camps, volunteers will have all expenses paid. Volunteers will have a 35-hour weekly, including Spanish. Activities generally be provided Monday through Friday except certain activities that require other days. This week days service can will change. The volunteer will have Christmas holidays and Easter. The project increases young people's positive awareness of other cultures as they will have the possibility to know the Spanish culture, with adults and children in the host country and live in a Spanish family. They will have the opportunity to learn Spanish and to live Spanish customs. It will also work with Spanish young volunteers who are also involved in the project. Also for young Spanish volunteers involved in the project and for kids will be an opportunity to know the culture of the countries of origin of the volunteers. After the service, the idea is that each volunteer continue to work in his sending organization and continue your training project.
