The project has been part of the activities taken into account by this school to achieve its strategic objectives planned in the Divina Pastora 2015 Strategic Plan. Some of the main goals of this plan have been promoting of learning languages, especially English, improving academic results and strengthening of bilingual section in Primary Education. To achieve these goals we need a team of highly qualified professionals in use of English, motivating methodologies for students, CLIL and knowledge of the Ireland and UK system education and culture. To do this, 2 teachers and a manager member of our school have participated in mobility activities in Ireland, Nothern Ireland and Scotland, in periods of 1 or 2 weeks. During that time they have participated in training focused on improvement of the organization and management of the school, CLIL methodology, teaching of English as a foreign language and teaching non-language areas in English, and knowledge of the Ireland and UK system education and culture. In the section of results and impact , the development of this project in our school has had a very positive effect, in both, the school staff (training, retraining , reflection, application, confidence ) and the school as an institution (achievement of strategic objectives , promotion of English from young learners (three years) , launched a bilingual section , the improvement of staff qualification, development innovation experiences as language exchanges with people from other European countries). The project has had a strong impact on the environment (our school is the only one in the region with bilingual section , improving the possitive perception of our center in the environment, perception of our center in the environment as a reference of teaching foreign languages and the implementation of innovative and qualified programs). Further more, the impact has been particularly important on students (improvement in the learning process , increased motivation , increased satisfaction with the school´s programs, improved understanding and respect for other cultures and realities).
