“ACTive YOUth” is a youth Exchange that will take place in Tenerife, Spain, between 15th and 25th of August of 2015 with the participation of 36 youngsters and 6 group leaders from 6 European countries – European Union and neighbors: Spain, Romania, Republic of Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, and Armenia. This project wants to involve young people with fewer opportunities and support the initiative and cooperation with other youngsters, that don’t belong to disadvantaged groups. This project wants to initiate a debate on the functions of volunteer work and associativism among the youngsters, with the purpose to raise awareness on the importance of volunteering and active youth participation in the personal and professional developing, as well in the sustainable growth of communities. The planned activities are designed to create the context for the exchange of ideas and experiences of youngsters, from different countries of European Union and East Europe, on the topic of volunteering, active participation and youth associativism, as well as making minimum 6 short movies that promotes the benefits of the Erasmus+ Program for youth. At the end of the exchange the participants will be more motivated to actively participate in the communities of origin, both for personal and professional development as for the community. They will have the technical competences that can be very useful in a diverse range of areas, both personal and professional, as they will have the practical experience of making a movie, from the idea, the scenario to the recording and editing the video material.
