A Euro barometer survey shows that Europeans pursue not enough physical activity. This increases the risk of rising costs for Member States by higher costs in health care and less revenue due to diseases of the citizens. But particularly, not enough activity has an effect on the mental balance and social life of each individual. This project promotes physical activity in children and youth. With the help of this youth-exchange , which takes place in Schierke, young people should be sensitized to the importance of movement in our lives and get to know ways for moving during the everyday work. It may not always be directly Sport - even if sport can promote health especially true : even everyday movements , such as stair climbing , cycling and gardening physical and mental health are conducive. The training is a mix of theoretical input, many work in small groups in which their own ideas and suggestions can be incorporated and practical workshops that explore ways to promote physical activity be tried.
The aim is to motivate the participants of the exchange as to implement their own ideas in their home organizations. They should be sensitized to the extent that they can act in their partner institutions as " movement coach". The goal is that the participants for the organizations and the people in the organizations develop opportunities to install physical activity into their daily routines. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of physical activity. The project is intended to give them an insight into the physical and psychological secrets of the body. The project serves the participants to draw your attention to what happens to the body when it is not sufficiently agitated. The project will have multiplying effects on organizations. We would hope that the participants in their organizations develop ideas for concepts of movement to show their employees the importance of physical activity. Joint Action days in nature should become a natural event in the organizations but also offers such back therapy training or sports courses for employees would be conceivable. In general, we expect a sustainable impact on the target group in terms of physical activity and exercise in nature.
