INTEGRARE IL PRESENTE PARAGRAFO CON LE CORREZIONI/MODIFICHE APPORTATE SOPRA.The project idea ACtive Teaching In a Valued Education - AC.T.I.V.E. is based on a kind analyze of the context in which school staff is daily involved. The students of our Institution in the majority of case belong from family with a single-income and medium or low level of instruction although there are students from families culturally higher. The situation of first year students is mostly problematic:It remains a significant gap between their cultural heritage and what is required in terms of knowledge, skills and competencies. Perhaps this gap is also more evident in the new generations than in the older one. This has been producing an increase of the percentage of dropout rate in the school. The problem particularly evident in our institute is also of national and European interst. The national average of early leaving school is around 15% while the European one is around 11%. The school, in consideration of one of its ardresses that on hotellerie, also feels the need to spread in its educational plan the teaching of a healty style of eating that can be deal trasversally in specific ardress's subjects as for example cooking. This might be a good opportunity to deepeen the responsability restaurants might have in the spreading of an healty stile respectful of the results elaborated in the Milano's Charter. The issue of a corret way of eating should become of European interest especially in consideration of the increase of obesity cases in Europe between children and young and on adolescents and the increase in adult age of the diseases linked to unhealthy diete as for example diabetes. On the base of these considerations, the project idea AC.T.I.V.E. proposes 30 mobilities divided as follow: 12 between the teachers of technical ardress; 12 between the teachers of the hotel and 4 between administrative staff. Participants will have their mobility experience in our partner schools in Spain and the United Kingdom. The mobility will be divided into two groups: Group I composed by the teachers arddress technical and technical staff; Group II composed by the professors of the hotel address. The whole consortium will benefit from the project. The institute Sereni, lead partner of the project will benefit of a staff more prepared and ready to face the challenges that the territory in which the it is located and the global market require to the school. The experience abroadf will henforce school staff motivation and it will pull to look for a change. Through the comparison with foreign colleagues the staff can improve specific skills: teachers from tecnical ardress the use of teaching methods and active participation as for example the use of role play; the administrative staff will improve management and administrative skills for reporting and creating synergies in fighting early school leaving ; teachers from jotellerie ardress will acquire knowledge on the nutritional value of foods and how to build laboratories that encourage students to specialize on the preparation of dishes not only tastly but also healthy. The whole partnership, thanks to the monitoring phase that includes between the different tasks also the evaluetion of the learning outcomes reached by the partecipants thought the use of ECVET system, will become familiar with the European instruments for the certification and validation of competences formal, informal and non- formal. All the partnership will experience the value of international cooperation, strengthen relations, and in this way, to plan new mobility for the school staff as well as for the students. In the long period the project will bring to a general improvement of teaching quality, more in line with the needs of the labor market and more effective in combating early school leaving.
