"Active Participation ,A Key to Inclusion"

"Active Participation, a Key to Inclusion" is a training course addressed to youth workers and leaders that want to improve their work with all the young people that are facing situations bringing to exclusion. The main aim of the course is to empower the role of youth associations in the involvement of such disadvantaged youth in the social life, making them active participants in their civil society. The TC will take place in Vlora town, in Albania, a town where many young people face daily problem of exclusion due to reasons such as their ethnical, social or economical background. The idea is to be able to create a "Circle of Inclusion" through active participation, making these youngsters become the agents that can support other youth facing exclusion. In the 7 days of the course, the 30 youth workers coming from EU and South Eastern Europe will share their best practices, difficulties and obstacles, tips and points of views about the topic of social inclusion. The concepts of exclusion/inclusion, youth participation and involvement, will be discussed in the training course, giving to the participants tips and tools that can be used by youth organizations to facilitate the process of development and improvement of the dialogue between youth, regardless their background. The whole course will be based on non formal education, using methods such as group discussions, round tables, roleplays, and different activities stimulating the creativity of young people.
