The German International Bauorden, located in Ludwigshafen will send one volunteer for 11 months (from 1.09.2012 to 1.08.2013) to the Association for Democratic Education FAR, Burgas, Bulgaria.The goals of the project Active and motivated are: to inform young people about the opportunities for active participation in the civil society, volunteering and the improvement of their key competences through non-formal education; to motivate the young people in Burgas and the region to participate actively in the community and to encourage their involvement in the decision making process on topics which have significant influence on their lives, through creation of youth democratic structures such as student board, student newspaper, youth initiative groups.The aims of the project will be achieved by participation of young people in the different types of nonformal education, offered by FAR; participation in the preparation, realization and evaluation of FAR seminars on current for society topics; activities, which stimulate and support youth initiatives and enterpreneurship; presentations at educational institutions and youth clubs in Burgas and the region; building up a network of active youth organisations in the region of Burgas.
