Live GREEN project is directed to incooperate the children and young people to healthy and active lifestyles through sports activities, outdoor activities and activities that promote healthy eating; communicate with nature and promoting responsible attitudes to environmental issues through the non-formal education. It will achieve personal learning about different cultures, new ideas and ways of thinking, and best practices from other European countries in terms of sport, healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, nature and volunteering. The project provides activities such as plenaries, monthly sports events, art studio, eco-classroom outdoors implementation of youth initiatives to support the local community and has covered cultural topics. The main messages of the project aimed at exchanging good partnership practices for encouraging children and young people from local schools and children from social institutions to lead active and healthy lifestyles to communicate with nature, be empathetic to its problems and to care and protect the environment. Direct participants in the project are volunteers of "Ecomission 21st century" Association, representatives of the Municipal School Board Lovech, students from local educational institutions, representatives of public institutions and organizations and the civic community of Lovech. Planned activities in this project proposal and work on them will inevitably enrich the formal education of young people with practical knowledge and skills. Through these young people will have the opportunity to gain a positive experience that will be the basis for active citizenship in the process of decision making. The direct contact with foreigners, representatives of other European cultures will give examples of individuality, independence and enriching life experience will stimulate the desire for successful personal development. Four EVS volunteers from Italy, Poland, Spain and Latvia will participate in the project activities on the territory of Lovech town with duration 9 months. For distribution of key events in the course of the project and the results will be used longstanding partnership of "Ecomission 21st century" association with the local media and our partner networks - the National Alliance for Volunteers - Plovdiv; National Network of Children; organizations Eurodesks, National YICC network. Youth information will be distributed to educational institutions in the region, as well as website hosting organization www.ecomission 21.com and www.lch.mikc.bg, and pages and groups of the organization on Facebook.
