The "Act & ReACT" is a project of youth exchange with neighboring partner countries, which will last a total of four months, from 01/08/2016 to 30/11/2016. The mere youth exchange will be carried out in Rogoznica (Croatia, Sibenik-Knin County) in the period from 27/08 to 05/09/2016. The organizer of the Exchange is Sabor amaterskih kazališta Slavonije i Baranje and partner organizations are Hrvatsko amatersko kazalište Travnik from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kamerna scena "Miroslav Antić" Senta from Serbia.The youth exchanges with neighboring partner countries of the EU entitled "Act & ReACT" deals with the promotion of healthy lifestyles and prevention of addiction among young people through non-formal education and methods of drama pedagogy.The main topics of the project are creativity and culture (referring to the main method of the Exchange - acting and drama pedagogy), and healthy lifestyles and active aging (the emphasis is placed on the prevention of addiction among young people).The main objective of the project "Act & React" is prevention of addiction among young people.The specific objectives are:- acquisition of of healthy lifestyles among young people, thereby improving their quality of life- development of imagination and creativity of young people and experiential learning using drama pedagogy and acting- development of communication skills - verbal and non-verbal communication- contribution to the development of social attitudes and values among young people, self-esteem and self-confidence- encouraging young people to volunteer and actively involve in the community- intercultural learning and the spread of social networks and mutual support among young people.The project will engage a total of 45 young participants (plus 6 leader), an equal number from each partner organization. All participants in the project will be aged 18 to 25 years.During the ten-day youth exchange a variety of non-formal and informal methods of working with young people will be used, some of which are: discussions, presentations, role plays, 'icebreakers', stretching exercises, relaxation exercises, confidence exercises, concentration exercises, improvisation exercises, design techniques, workshops on a specific topic, artistic expression, play outdoors, small group work, pair work, teamwork, interactive exercises, structured exercises and simulation games, meeting and creating trust, feedback, process evaluation and so on.The impact of the "Act & ReACT" project to the participants is:- improved quality of life of young people with fewer opportunities, enriched with new knowledge, skills and abilities- young people empowered with knowledge about healthy lifestyles- young people encouraged to play sports, to go outside on fresh air and spend less time at the computer- increased awareness of the problem of drug addiction among young people- time spened on social networks reduced to a minimum and young people encourage to quality leisure time- young people familiarized with the principles of drama pedagogy and motivated to engage in drama activities in their local community- young people from the three countries linked to strong social network and a network of mutual support- a variety of environmental, social, and communication skills acquired - the confidence of young people strengthened- raised awareness among youth about the importance and value of volunteering and active involvement in the community- participants strengthened to cope with stress and negative emotions.
