CONTEXTThe project will offer students of Associazione CNOS/FAP Regione Lombardia VET centers the possibility of a placement abroad as a first step towards the creation of a regional consortium that aims to internationalize VET education through a systemic approach participated by the main stakeholders. The Associazione CNOS/FAP Regione Lombardia is willing to transfer in its region what Aeca and Uniser along with a regional network of partners, including the Region Emilia-Romagna, have achieved in previous Erasmus +, LLP, and the ESF projects for the mobility of students, including the the network Leonardo LLP iMovie for the development of a regional infrastructure aimed at facilitating the coordination of VET mobility at regional level.OBJECTIVESThe main object of is to foster social inclusion and employability of young people attending vocational training courses and the ones who have just obtained their certification, encouraging the personal development and fostering lifelong learning. IeFP participants will acquire key competences and professional skills in order to obtain their qualification, continue training or enter the labor market. Making learning mobility a reality into the students training programme, will: increase the attractiveness of VET, facilitate the recognition learning outcomes through ECVET, strengthen and organise the regional cooperation towards the creation of a consortium for VET mobility in Lombardy.NUMBER AND PROFILES OF PARTICIPANTSThe project will involve 99 students of VET school:- 69 students attending Vocational Education pathways to obtain a EQF4 Certification (Diploma Professionale Quadriennale): the duration will be of 6 weeks;- 30 students who will have obtained their certification respectively in June 2016 and June 2017 and will take part in the mobility programme just after the end of the studies: the duration will be of 12 weeks.The beneficiaries are young people over 18 years old, some of them with scholastic, educational, economical social or cultural difficulty. The opportunity of training in Europe will represent the only chance to have a training experience abroad, in a way to acquire skills and competences that could have a significant impact on their personal and professional profile. The qualifications have been chosen according to the indicators of socio-economical context of Lombardy and belongs to those sector that require the kind of skills and key competences that participants will acquire thanks to mobility.ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLOGYThe activity concerns the organisation of curricular internships in European companies for 99 students coming from 5 training centers of VET system in Lombardy.Definition, assessment, validation and recognition of learning objectives reached by participants will be carried out through the implementation of ECVET system. The countries of destination will be: Austria, France, Poland, Germany, Lituania, Czeck Republic, Slovenia e Spain. The students will be sent according to the school year calendar and planning and according to the different type of students making the mobility. The number of participants of each group can thus vary considerably.RESULTS AND IMPACTIt is expected that the project will have an impact after the end of the activity, starting from the results, which will concern:- the participants, 100% will successfully finish their training, achieving the qualification thanks to the recognition of learning results of mobility; it is also expected that the participant attending EQF4 courses will enter the labour market 12 months after obtaining their certification and the students having mobility just after the end of their studies will enter the labour market after 6 months.- the 5 VET centers involved, which integrate learning mobility in their training offer, by designating a coordinator for the mobility- The regional VET system, which will “import” best practices on how to establish a mobility consortium thanks to the transfer of know-how from Emilia Romagna- The national and european level, for the diffusion and transfer of IeFP organisational model and for the development of cooperation among VET consortiums.LONG TERM BENEFITA systemic mobility at regional level means:- more opportunities for IeFP professionals and students, which are formally recognised.- more qualified human resources, that can enter in the labor market, matching with the competence needs of the companies with international dimension- an infrastructure working on development strategy of mid-long term mobility- the reduction and optimization of mobility costs and increasing opportunities of raising new co-financing- the diffusion in Europe of a model for cooperation among VET consortia, which would facilitate the companies' involvement and their active participation.
