Notre-Dame Le Ménimur high school offers a 7-month EVS from 1st october 2014 to 30 april 2015. We intend to welcome only one volunteer. We are looking for a volunteer with a basic level in french, able to show initiative, to behave with young people, to be creative, willing to get involved in solidarity and cultural projects. The project is about accompanying young people towards involvement. The aim is to encourage our students to commit themselves to helping other people, to saving our planet, to being active citizens through projects with them. The EVS will work mainly with the activity coodinator, but also with the educative and teaching staff. He/she will take part in the different structures of the school linked with the activity such as the "CESC" (Health and Citizenship Education Comittee) and the "CVL" (School Life Comittee), as well as the projects with an international and european dimension (YEP (Youth European Parliament, Europe Day, trips abroad...). We hope that this project will enable our school to emphasize its international dimension and to give our students values of solidarity and european citizenship. This project will help the volunteer to develop skills, such as project methodology and group management mainly.
