A growing number of professionals work as mentors (or coaches) with people classifiedas having serious difficulties entering the labour market.The project aims to:- Increase knowledge of this mentor function, in its different manifestations acrossdifferent European countries.- Use innovative tools and methods to help mentors to become more professional.The following results and products are expected:- An analysis of the characteristics of the "professions" and their needs in terms ofprofessional training.- An inventory of best practices, tools, methods etc.- One or more mentor training programmes.- Setting up a European resource centre for use by mentors.- Building an exchange network.The aim is to help improve the services provided to people facing serious difficultiesentering the labour market.
