To cater the professional development of Latvian Waldorf School ĀBVS teachers, first of all, they are going to take part in courses in one of the most professional teaching pedagogy and methodology centres in Europe “Lehrerseminar für Waldorfpädagogik” in Kassel, in addition, they will attend the German language "PREMIUM SUPERINTENSIVE 2" courses at Goethe Institute, plus they will take part in the “Internationale Deutsch Woche” courses in Germany, plus they will attend the English language courses for Waldorf pedagogy at Emerson College specializing in this area and finally they will take part in English week “To the English Teachers at the European Rudolf Steiner Schools / Waldorf Schools”.The goal of the participation is to advance and diversify methodological knowledge and skills of teachers in Waldorf pedagogy; get acquainted with the latest teaching methods and educational modernization and internationalization; build a broader understanding of the education systems in Europe; master the pedagogy; improve the English / German language skills; to develop teachers' creative skills while working with children.In 7day courses in Kassel will take part three of the teachers delivering subjects to the eleventh grade students. The German language courses at Goethe Institute in Munich will visit the primary school teacher who will take part in the fourteenday course sessions. German language teacher will spend the week at the Internationale DeutschWoche courses in Berlin. English language courses at Emerson College, the UK and “English week“ at Koln, Germany will attend primary school teachers, who in addition to language skills will learn Waldorf pedagogy methods. The courses will be both theoretical knowledge and practical skills replenishment. Reflection exchange among the colleagues will allow to learn more about the experience of other countries.The course experience will have the direct impact on the teachers' knowledge of their subject, moreover improve their skills in methodology, as well as raise the overall quality of work. Of great benefit will be the acquision of the international teachers' experience, which will make to enter a variety of topical issues and intercultural skills into daily work, on the other hand, it will provide an opportunity for students to become more interested in the international current issues.
