PROJECT
FINISHED
The project is based on the analysis of the specific needs that IES Clara Campoamor has, so we are in a Multilingual program and we try to become an European dimension/attitude. In order to achieve our aims, this academic year our school has a KA2 project jointly with four countries more. Therefore the KA1, which we hand over now, tries to complete our requirement to open to Europe, being aware of the impact on our enviroment. Takening this into account, our students will have a broader view according to the knowledge of european people.
The number of applicants will be seven permanent staff who were setting the required profile, mainly based on their interest in improving English and joining into the multilingual program, knowing CLIL Methodology, getting better in ICT or sharing experiences in the etwinning platform. We are professional staff with interest and worries to progress in our job.
The activities we have chosen are focused on:
English Matters and International House – Dublin. These courses are designed for teachers who wish to refresh their English language skills while at the same time, explore new methodologies and different approaches to teaching a language. Three applicants will do these courses of two weeks in summer 2015 and the next summer, 2016 two teachers want to go to Leeds with English Matters, another teacher to Lingoschools in London.

According the Job Shadowing in Glasgow, the teacher who will go to
Humanities School (University of Glasgow) is very interested in their project ‘Literacy through Latin, so one of her areas of interests is
expanding classical languages though differents sectors of education. In fact, she have done activities in her high school about mythology and primary schools join in this activity every year. If it is possible, it would be helpful if she do this job shadowing when they will stay in primary schools teaching and you complete the programme in extrascholar activities. Probably the dates will be from 4th october October to 12th October 2015
