SMART ASSOCIATION is a cultural association that has always participated in all the activities to counteract racism, xenophobia and all the cultural prejudices that ruin the atmosphere of civil society. In a time when the "fear of the other" affects the entire population, including through events of intolerance who we thought relegated to the past, such as those against individuals suffering from physical or psychological handicap, came up the idea to create "South of no North," a cultural exchange was held in Pisa that involved 30 young participants from ITALY, SLOVAKIA, TURKEY, HUNGARY and POLAND, with the purpose of creating an integrated European network of associations and citizens active and aware to fight together against prejudices, exchanging information and "best practices" exportable to other territories. In the week of work, workshops and debates, we developed a quick and easily accessible MANUAL AGAINST RACISM in which to collect prejudices, the old and new one, and all data and scientific explanations that reveal the falsity of these prejudices, and feeding back with the hashtag "#AsuddinessunNord" message of awareness to the issues of the project, declined in artistic forms that participants deem most suitable. The educational approach was marked mostly by the use of methods of non-formal education, which enabled participants to express themselves as freely as possible and to be involved in the dynamics of group work in full respect of their characteristics.
