The Exodos Festival is the biggest and the oldest festival of contemporary performing arts in Slovenia and in this part of Europe in general. Since its very beginning in 1994, it represents a space for and crossroads of European and world cultures, bringing information to our audience and enabling other cultures to present and promote themselves. It is a synonym for widening cultural horizons and entwining intercultural exchanges and different views. In the time when Slovenia was not yet a member of European Union, the Exodos Festival represented a window to Europe and the world. Beside the Exodos festival, our institution organized the Moving Cake Slovene dance platform, in which we have shared our culture art? with other European artists and promoters; finally, we will organize the Balkan dance platform, which we have cofounded 2002.Exodos Festival has always reinforced the awareness of the importance of European and world cultural consciousness, it diversity and similarities.
