Project overview “A Escola numa Dimensão Europeia”
The Secondary School José Saramago-Mafra develops a strategic plan that aims to modernize, update and capitalize its human and material resources in order to ensure adequate educational and training response and quality to all young people and adults in the country, with special emphasis to their comprehensive training, in order to provide the tools (knowledge, skills and abilities) that enable them to act as autonomous and responsible citizens, integrating an increasingly European and globalizing society.
Despite good practices, particularly evident on school results and the numerous projects that complement curricular activities and aim for the integral formation of students, it is considered that there are aspects that should be improved, particularly the updating of teaching skills in different curriculum subjects, innovative digital skills in the educational context and the organization level of school educational services. Thus, this KA1 project School Teaching Staff Mobility, lasting two years, will allow the updating of skills of teaching, reinforcing the use of ICT in different curriculum subjects and projects, innovating procedures and practices in schools, contributing to improve the performance of teachers and educational achievement of young students and adults.
