In case of a winner tender, the Székesfehérvári Deák Ferenc Kereskedelmi és Vendéglátóipari Szakképző iskola would like to organize a 4 weeks (160 working hours) vocational practice to its 22 motivated students in abroad.
11-11 students would travel to Vienna an to Lecco (Italy).
- 3-3 cooks, 10-11 grades
- 3-3 waiter, 10-11 grades
- 3-3 hospitality organiser, 13-14 grades
- 2-2 pastry cooks, 10-11 grades
The students would spend their practice at Accor hotel chain in Vienna and at APAF Agenzia Provinciale per le Attività Formative in Lecco (Italy).
In Austria the German while in Italy, English would be the work language.
We would like to send 2-2 escort teachers with the groups.
Our school already has a winner project of the ERASMUS+2014 round, that will be executed this summer with the same receiving companies.
As such this summer's trip we consider as the preparation visit for the 2016 planned practice, where we will have the opportunity to build personal relation with the receiving companies staff.
To students of the hospitality sector it especially important to obtain experience in the international cuisine and cultures, to meet with the most different kind of nations in order to become flexible, as it is one of the main virtues of a host.
The other one is the language skills that can be improved significantly with spending time in abroad.
We plan the execution of the practices to the summer of 2016.
We would like that our accompanying teachers would build connections with local Vocational Educational Institutes next to controlling and monitoring the professional practice of the student group.
We think that through the program the reputation of our school could rise, and the unemployment rate of our region could lower, also the standards of the Hungarian hospitality could grow and our school would build relations with local Educational Institutes in order to open the European dimension towards our students and teachers.
