In the EU-28 we suffer from a dramatic situation concerning young people unemployment. There is a gap of nearly 50 percentage point between the Member State with the lowest rate of youth unemployment (Germany with 7,7% at the end of 2013) and the MS with the highest rate (Greece, 57,3% and followed by Spain with 56%), then Croatia (52%), Italy (40,1%), Cyprus (38,6%) and Portugal (36,8%).
