The main aim of the project is to give young people access to non-formal and informal learning and as well to show and make youngsters to understand how necessary is to keep our environment green and act in sustainable way. Thought this project we will show to the youngsters that recreation, home and business could be done and kept in green and sustainable way. That with simple activities, without extra resources and a bit change of life style they can make their surrounding more green and help to preserve nature from anthropocentric influence. It is important to understand that to change world you need to start with yourself. The objectives of this project are to show youngsters how to live in more ecological and sustainable way through non-formal learning and to introduce the way of learning to learn. In general there were 19 participants aged between 16 and 25 - 7 participants from Latvia and 8 from Lithuania, plus 4 group leaders- two from Latvia and two from Lithuania. Planned activities were separated to three main themes: (1) Green recreation, (2) Green house and (3)Green business. In each of this activities group participants needed to do tasks to learn and improve their knowledge?s theoretically and practically. Methodology was mostly based on non-formal learning principles including Youth-pass competences. The main impact, what will leave our project to youth and local community, is awareness of the environment in which we live and the desire to make it greener by learning how to save resources, sorting waste and use of environmental technology.
