PROJECT
FINISHED
321 ACTIONate, is a proposal for a youth exchange to 5 European associations of Estonia, Romania, Croatia, Portugal and Spain will develop in the Sierra de Madrid, in the historic town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, in September from 19th to 28th, 2014.
The proposal comes in response to the finding of three realities that are common in all the countries involved:
-The important, and growing, rate of youth unemployment to cause and consequence of the economic crisis and the difficulty young people to gain access to the labour market.
-The need that we have young people develop ourselves actively and responsibly making proactive use of mechanisms and tools of social participation in democracy.
-The restlessness of youth of the five countries to take a common European identity, generating responses sinergics with common objectives and goals.
We included eight young people by Association, of 18 to 25 years along with their managers, and the dates would be from 19 to 28 September 2014
The Exchange includes the following topics:
-Youth participation,
-Youth unemployment and problems of the labour market, and
-European citizenship and democracy
And therefore set ourselves the following objectives to:
-Develop and disseminate, through the creation of spots/videos the consequences that have new measures and policies because of the economic crisis to thus generate, the participants of the project, a new model of consciousness and European citizenship through the challenge, we are the Europe we build collaboration, altruism, conscience of class, solidarity and social participation. Reflecting the problems and situations that youth and adults living in each of our countries to respond to global causes, and only actions that are coordinated through the involvement and democratic participation, cannot provide real answers to these realities.
-Raise awareness, disseminate and promote the concept of European citizenship, the feeling of oneness emanating from it are, what has already been achieved in Europe and on the expectations that we as young Europeans get; generating and developing new tools/answers to achieve fostering knowledge of the basis by which the concept of citizenship and European awareness is born.
-Strengthen our community identity of the European Union, through knowledge, assumption, and commitment to their rights and duties
-Strengthening social skills, group dynamics, of the participants through the experiential learning of different situations that require a response in each situation through: teamwork, assumption of roles, Fellowship, appropriate and moderate conflict, resolution groupthink...
-Raise awareness and share the different realities that we live in each of our countries derived from our own cultural identity as well as the most relevant aspects of the participating cultures: songs, dances, food, traditions and legends...
To the achievement of the objectives, will develop, among others, the following activities:
-Recording and Assembly of spots, expositions/discutions, videoforums, presentation of papers, group dynamics, cultural visits, realities of each country, meetings with technicians of youth and Social Center.
To generate and promote the synergistic relationships between participants, activities are carried out through work in small mixed groups of gender and countries which in turn will promote a process of decision-making where participants may assume proactively small responsibilities from the start up and development of the project. Online, every night we will gather those responsible in each country and a member of each group to democratically bring the running of the Exchange.
