The "2nd International Youth Meeting: European Citizen - Where are you?" will bring together young people and people active in youth work from more than 20 different European countries (EU programme countries and neighbouring partner countries from SEE) in order to offer them a platform to discuss basic issues concerning participation and European citizenship, share experiences and additionally learn more about specific non-formal methods they may use in youth projects later on.For this purpose, we organise many different activities on several floors. Hence, participants often have the opportunity to choose within the programme. Every working day equals one cluster with a corresponding roof topic, ranging from democracy to media. The clusters, however, are always connected to the framework of the meeting - participation of the youth, European citizenship and non-formal learning.In order to support discussions and deliver some valuable input, experts from fields such as politics, social work and media are invited to join the meeting every now and then. They will not only give some examples related to real life, they may also help to do what the project intends: offering alternative points of view. The "2nd International Youth Meeting: European Citizen -Where are you?" will take place in Belgrade, Serbia from 16lh -24lh of May 2011.
