The project called ‘21st century - Methodologies in our school" is of crucial importance to Orce Nikolov High School. For that purpose our school has chosen an array of innovative and pedagogical trainings which are meant to increase the quality and capacity of one of the best high schools in the Republic of Macedonia. There are several teachers involved in the project including a Chemistry, Geography, English, Computer Science teachers and two Mathematics professors. The subjects of their trainings are the following: • Methods to Activate Learning • Content and language Integrated Learning • Creativity • Critical Thinking • Problem-solving • Decision-making • Learning All of the teachers within this project work in bilingual classes; classes which make our high school stand out from other high schools in the Republic of Macedonia. One of our initial goals was to involve teachers who work in bilingual French and English classes, therefore our strategic orientation as a high school is focused on international cooperation with other schools and institutions. Our expectations from the realization of this project are improving the methods of working and increasing the involvement and interest of the teachers and students for bilingual learning. With the implementation and realization of our expected results, we strongly believe that the interest of our current and future students in international cooperation will increase.
