2016 Financial support for EQF in Norway
Start date: Jan 1, 2016,
End date: Dec 31, 2016
PROJECT
FINISHED
Our activities are mainly intended to make information about the NQF, the EQF, and the relationship between the two, more accessible to stakeholders and the general public, be it through information on the web, in written form, or through seminars, dialogue meetings and other forms of outreach. Recent events have made work with qualifications frameworks, learning outcome descriptors and related subjects even more timely and relevant. The NCP plans to focus much of its work on learning outcome descriptions in 2016. The first candidates with degrees that have learning outcome descriptions in accordance with the NQF will enter the labour market in 2016 (NQF levels 5-8/EQF levels 5-8). This will necessitate an information campaign for students and employers on how to use learning outcome descriptors in an employment situation.Other topics/activities: qualifications outside the formal education and training system, new recognition criteria in cooperation with the Norwegian ENIC-NARIC, competence building and cooperation with other partners.
