This project is the unexpected result of a collective EVS short-term project that took place in October 2015. REV association ( delegation of Solidarités Jeunesses Languedoc-Roussillon ) has welcomed a short term EVS group of young people with fewer opportunities from Vvyksa city near to Nizhny Novgorod in Russia. This group was composed by young people which had less opportunities and regularly involved in the activities of the local Youths Center.Throughout this project, young Russians shared times in workcamp with other youths from a deprive area in the city of Vauvert. The relation established between the two groups, and according to what the youths of Vauvert said after they meet the russian volunteers was so positive that the Youth Center asked to Solidarités Jeunesses to coordinate a similar project, but reversing the direction of mobilityThe aim of this project, is to send a group of 10 young people from priority neighborhood of Vauvert to Russia for 3 weeks. In this project, French volunteers will be among the young Russian that they already meet, but also with a new young Russian who did not come to France in October 2015. They will work on a renovation work-camp for general utility. This project is also the first international mobility for most of these youths from Vauvert, as going to Nimes or to Montpelier is already challenging.By this project, the young people from Vauvert city will be able to develop their personnel and interpersonal capacities. :- Throughout this international experience, they will develop their autonomy regarding their origin territory. Thanks to that, they will be able to see that the limit of their territory is extensible, the possibilities that they could not find in their own territory, can be find beyond it and that it is accessible for them.- By their involvement in a general utility project, they will discover the civil right and the voluntary engagement. Moreover, activities include manual, renovation and traditional construction, it is an opportunity for the youths to learn the technical gesture linked to the construction profession.- By the cooperation with the local volunteers, young French will reinforced their links with Russians volunteers who came to France at the Autumn 2015, furthermore they will be open to meet different people. These new encounters will expand their cultural horizons and give them the opportunity to share and compare their own situation.-By this collective participation, young people will have the opportunity to reinforce their solidarity and cooperation among the group. In addition, the presence of the referent facilitators along the project will bring a dynamic relationship between adult and young people. At their return, this new dynamic will be reinvested in their neighborhood. We can expect that the youths who had participated to this project, will take a different place and will be the engine of local initiatives.
